European Head of Learning and Development (CZ, RO, HU, PL)
Are you a strategic leader in Learning and Development looking for an opportunity to make an impact across multiple European markets? We are seeking a Head of Learning and Development to coordinate and drive a consistent L&D agenda, ensuring alignment with global strategies and leveraging local initiatives to enhance efficiency and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate L&D initiatives across four European markets, ensuring alignment with global L&D strategies while tailoring programs to local needs.
- Identify and promote synergies between markets to share and scale best practices.
- Drive consistency in L&D programs while allowing for necessary local adjustments to reflect cultural or legal differences.
- Leverage existing local resources and success stories to maximize the impact of L&D efforts across the division.
- Lead the integration of digital learning platforms and ensure the efficient deployment of learning solutions across all markets.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure alignment of L&D initiatives with strategic business needs.
- Manage the divisional L&D budget, optimizing resources and vendor relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: A degree in HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: 7-10 years in L&D, with 2-3 years in a multi-market or regional role. Proven success in influencing without direct reporting lines in a matrix structure.
- Practical Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in designing, delivering, and executing L&D programs. The ideal candidate will have experience not only in sourcing external solutions but also in customizing and implementing initiatives.
- Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date with current L&D trends, digital learning innovations, and best practices.
- Emotional Intelligence and Resilience: Emotionally mature, resilient, and capable of managing challenges and stakeholder expectations professionally.
- Collaboration and Influence: Strong ability to build relationships and drive alignment with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in utilizing graphic tools to create impactful and engaging learning materials and presentations(preferred).
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is a requirement. A forward-thinking leader who thrives in dynamic environments and navigates challenges with agility.
